Deception is a conscious attempt to mislead or manipulate others. It is the act of hiding the truth, of creating a violation of trust, a false reality that serves your own purposes. If you have chosen this card today it is a reminder to peel away the layers of falsehood, within yourself and in your perceptions of others. It asks you who or what you are deceiving - can it be yourself? Or ask - who is trying to deceive you?
