kindness

I have learned silence from the talkative, toleration from the intolerant, and kindness from the unkind; yet, strange, I am ungrateful to those teachers.” Khalil Gibran, Poet

Are you being kind to yourself? Are you tolerating the unkindness of another? (Stop that!) Is there a way, when you think about it, a small kindness could change someone’s day/month/life? These are the questions that the Kindness card asks of you. Kindness is the universal language of the heart, closely connected to compassion. Kindness is not just a social courtesy, but the antidote to anger and resentment, a catalyst for healing and transformation and, therefore, can be considered a profound spiritual practice. The Dalai Lama himself said: "My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness."

Kindness Mantra: Kindness is my language; it transforms, connects, and heals.
