Betrayal is a violation of trust so profound it has a devastating impact on relationships. The toxic pot of betrayal bubbles with feelings of grief, anger, sadness, and confusion.
Betrayal can come in many guises and this card asks you to look first within. What are the ways in which you may be betraying yourself? Are you living according to your own ethics and values or making too many compromises on the things that really matter? Are you somehow looking the other way? Of course the obvious questions are who might you be betraying and is who could be betraying you? Spend some time contemplating these questions and act while there is time. Ultimately betrayal leaves you with only one choice (for yourself and your peace of mind) - forgiveness (which ain't always easy!) - and/or swiftly moving on.
