intolerance

Children are remarkable for their intelligence and ardor, for their curiosity, their intolerance of shams, the clarity and ruthlessness of their vision.”
Aldous Huxley

Intolerance is a refusal to accept or respect the beliefs or practices of others. It is a narrow-mindedness that closes you off to other ways of seeing the world. Intolerance is a barrier to compassion and understanding. It prevents you from seeing the humanity in others and connecting with them on a deeper level.

If you have pulled the card of Intolerance, it challenges you to have respect for the beliefs of others, and recognise that it is through tolerance that you build bridges of understanding with diverse individuals and cultures. If you recognise intolerance around you do not tolerate it.

Intolerance Mantra: I build bridges of understanding through tolerance and acceptance.
