naive

“The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naive forgive and forget; the wise forgive but do not forget.”
Thomas Szasz

Naivety is both lack of experience and innocence. But there is a fine line between innocence and ignorance. On the one hand it is the ability to see the world with fresh eyes, to approach new experiences without prejudice, and to trust in the goodness of others. On the other hand it can be innocence to a fault - do not be taken for a ride. Naivete is a reflection of our inner child, the pure and untainted part of ourselves that still believes in magic and possibility. If you have chosen the card Naive you are encouraged to seek to understand life while maintaining an open heart. You are no one’s fool.

Naive Mantra: I learn from experiences without losing my sense of wonder, growing in wisdom and understanding.
